Slower turnaround.  Colour matching, priming, sanding, applying top coat and curing takes time.

Applied to metals, wood, plastic and glass. Not as tough as powder, in general.
Very flexible and versatile. Solvent emmissions not good for environment.
Can add texture to most paint. Diffucult to apply, high skill level required.
High resistance to UV degredation. More expensive than powder.
Wide range of effects including metallics and pearls.
