Multicoat is a well established powder coating and spray painting business in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne.
We are looking for a Junior to fill an entry level position in the organisation. Willingness and capability to do an apprenticeship would be advantageous.
Reporting to the Team Leader, primary jobs include cleaning and pre treating metal parts (handling chemicals), spraying painting, hanging parts for coating and reading and writing paper work. May lead to powder coating parts.
This is a very hands on position that includes detailed and fiddly work.
No experience is necessary but must be able to work in a team environment and follow verbal and written instructions.
The successful applicant must be able to read and write English to a year ten standard.
Rates depend on age and experience but we are looking at around $10 - $15 per hour.
Position will initially be Casual and then Full Time in the future
Work Hours are 7 am to 3:30 pm M-F.
