Cast Tables & Chairs

Many people ask us about recoating cast iron or aluminium Victorian Syle laced out door tables and chairs.  These are usually white and typically have the coating peeling off to allow rust of the iron to form or "white rust" on the aluminum to form.

Decide if you are going to keep them for a long time or are sprucing them up for the short term eg sale of the house.  This will allow us to make a recommendation to you.

Remeber that if we coat over the flaking coating, in 6-12 months time, the coating will start to flake off again so you have wasted your money.

To do the job properly, we need to remove the existing coating and the corrosion that is pushing it off.  Do not be surprised if the cost of removing the existing coat is more than the original purchase price of the furniture!
